Perhaps a feature worth adding to advertising stays with motel is a fact that 8 miles of greenways are directly accessible from motel rooms. One can safely ride bicycle, jog, or walk along very scenic nature routes. Another great feature is the mountain bike trails less than 2 miles from motel when using greenways.
Stayed another night, Sunday night, and attendant charged me same rate when most motels would drop price $10-$20 because Sunday night is notoriously slow one for motels. Motel could work better to identify with the pulse of community's local activities to offer special rates for those traveling to Lenoir. Yes, organizations scheduling events can do better to spread word of upcoming venues to local motels. But the early bird gets the worm. And guests enjoy staff versed with local events.
The room was exactly what you would expect in this price range. It was clean, quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. The wifi worked well and was fast. The tv was good. The location is great because there are many restaurants and gas stations nearby.
The towels were a little scratchy. The breakfast was ok.
the location and the space in the room
The room given was a non-smoking, but it had a stink of a smokers room. The AC was an old one which would either become very hot or too cold.
cleaning staff at room was nice
water leak in bathroom ceiling dry wall falling breakfast was poor no staff in office went to waffle house to get breakfast one morning
Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Good choice of TV channels, Wi-fi was very good. Location was very good.
Room a bit small but it was only myself so it was no problem.
The manager/owner was very ride literally yelling at us... The sheets had fresh dried blood on them the tub didn't drain stuff came up out of the drain and got on me there was dried spot/toothpaste on the faucet the plastic around the bad was town an extremely dirty... This was rm 109. It was disgusting and worst of all the owner said we did all that stuff....
Bathroom very clean and shower was great.
Bed too soft and lumpy.
Had good holiday rate very clean room. We went to Grandfather Mt. Everthing in blowing rock was full short drive if you don't get lost like we did .
Crazy guy on motorcycle woke everyone up @ 2 am . Not Managements fault . Hope someone returns his favor,
We have stayed here before, but the room had been redecorated and was very comfortable. Everything was clean, and the ladies at breakfast, check-in and check-out were very nice and make you want to return. Thanks
The fog going up to and returning from Blowing Rock Saturday night. Just kidding of course, I know my motel stay had nothing to do with the fog. Thanks again for making my wife and me feel welcome.
Room was clean, near resturants, easy to get to.
Being in a room near stairs.
Seemed clean and well maintained.
Not very easy to get to initially.
It's one of the few places to stay if you have business in Lenoir. Low price Clean room
I didn't feel entirely safe as a single woman. The lobby was in a separate building from the hotel room with shady characters hanging around outside. I went in and out of my room during daylight hours but wouldn't be comfortable coming back there late at night.
CLOSE TO PLACES TO EAT EASY TO GET TO
HAD A SMALL CHILD, TUB FAUCET WOULD NOT HOLD WATER IN
When I checked in, the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. She even talked me into a room on the lower level The room accommodations were more than acceptable for my one-night stay.
I did not have a very good night of rest--and not any fault of the Inn. When I checked in about five o'clock or so, there was a man sitting on the curb right next to my room carrying on a phone conversation with someone. No problem there--it was still early in the day. However, when I left to go out for supper--and then returned--he was still there. Still no problem. But when I got ready for bed, I knew--because I could hear him quite clearly through the walls--he was still carrying on a conversation. I went to bed (around 10:00), however, thinking he would realize it was time for people to retire and he should get into his room and continue talking there. But he didn't! At 10:43, I had to call the front desk to complain. I was told someone--I believe I was told the manager--would take care of it. But at 11:53, he was still out there! I called again and the young lady this time said she would see him. She did, and I think he finally got the hint! However, by this time, my rest wasn't as restful as I had hoped it would be.
